Fundamental questions in physics are studied in HITec, such as "Are the constants of nature really constant?". Novel sensors and methods are developed for the observation of global environmental processes to capture with previously unattainable quality both local and global mass changes, for example the loss of ice mass through effects of global warming.
The research building is designed for a number of employees from 100 to 120 persons and was inaugurated in June 2018.
